Ordering and Delivery of Fruit Trees
Where do you deliver to?
We are currently able to deliver trees to most parts of the UK, and many parts of Western Europe - primarily Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands. All fruit trees for delivery to western Europe include the EU "plant passport" certification.
Our sister website, Orange Pippin Trees USA, can deliver trees to most parts of the continental United States - useful if you have friends or relatives there and would like to send them an apple tree.
Delivery charges
In most cases the prices shown on our website include delivery. If you order several bare-root trees for delivery to the same address at the same time the delivery charge will be reduced - the saving will be shown at the checkout.
We have to add a surcharge for delivery to the UK Highlands and Islands.

Can I order trees for delivery to different delivery addresses or countries on the same order?
No - but you can create a separate order for each delivery address. Orders for delivery to the UK or western Europe are priced in sterling. Orders for delivery to the USA are priced in US dollars.
Delivery periods - when will my order be delivered?
Our trees are offered either as bare-root or container-grown trees, and the format is specified in our ordering pages. Whilst you can place your order at any time, fruit trees are a natural product and there are some limitations on when they can be delivered. During the checkout process you will have the opportunity to request a specific delivery month and we will do our best to comply but we cannot guarantee delivery on or by a specific date - we have to take local weather conditions and the growth rates of trees into consideration as well.
Deliveries start in September and run through to the following spring. If you order a mixture of container-grown and bare-root trees, they might arrive in separate deliveries depending on the time of year. This is because bare-root trees can only be shipped during winter (when they are dormant) whereas container-grown trees can be shipped over a longer time period.

When do I pay for my order?
We accept orders all year-round but we can only deliver in the delivery periods described above. When you place an order the stock is normally reserved for you within a few days, but depending on the time of year when you place your order we may not request payment immediately. In general for orders placed during late summer, autumn, and winter, we will ask you to pay straightaway at the time of order if you want delivery as soon as possible. If you place an order in early summer, we will take the order but you won't need to pay immediately. We will then send you an email notification nearer the time asking you for payment.
