When is the best time to order a fruit tree?

Hi. I thought the best time to plant fruit trees was in the winter, but you seem to be sold out?

Answer:
You are correct, the best time to plant fruit trees is in the late autumn or winter. However the best time to order is usually over the summer - when we release the new season availability at the start of July.
In 2021 because of expected stock availability issues we opened our website for pre-orders in April, and many varieties were sold out even before we announced new availability in July. We expect stock shortages will continue for the next few years.
In short, check our website from March onwards or ask us to setup a pre-order for you.
