Hall's Giant hazel trees

Halls Giant

Hall's Giant is an old hazel variety, but it gets its name from the size of the nuts not the size of the tree - it grows as a compact bush.

The nuts are not as large as some of the modern hazel varieties - however the flavor is good, one of the best available.

All pot-grown trees are suitable for planting out in the garden, some are suitable for growing in containers.

You can pre-order now for delivery from late August / early September 2021 for pot grown trees (or late November / early December for bare-root). You do not need to pay at this stage - just add items to the basket and checkout as usual.

How to grow

Requires a pollination partner - choose Butler or Cosford. Hall's Giant is itself a very good pollinator for other hazel varieties which require pollination in the mid-late season such as Ennis.
