All about Stellata flowering cherry trees

Prunus pendula Stellata is named after its characteristic star-shaped flowers. The blossom is a pretty pale pink colour, and borne in profusion, before the foliage appears.

The tree grows with a wide-spreading form.

History

Stellata was developed in the USA, but named and publicised by English enthusiast Collingwood Ingram.
