Sorbus scalaris
  • Fruit colour: Orange / Red

While the mostly widely-grown rowans tend to have a columnar form, Sorbus scalaris grows into a wide and spreading tree. The main attraction is the deep red-orange autumn colours of the foliage, which can sometimes go over into purple hues.
