Fernette walnut trees

Fernette is one of the new breed of French Walnuts, derived from the traditional Franquette Walnut, has the same high quality nuts but capable of heavier crops.

The nuts are ready in November when grown in England.

All pot-grown trees are suitable for planting out in the garden, some are suitable for growing in containers.

You can pre-order now for delivery from early September 2021 for pot grown trees (or late November / early December for bare-root). You do not need to pay at this stage - just add items to the basket and checkout as usual.

How to grow

Fernette can be grown in the warmer and drier areas of the UK. It will reach a mature height of 6m / 20ft after 10-20 years.

Broadview is the best pollinator.
